Where is the common sense???

Typical in los angeles.The Mayor lets the DEA run rampant and pull off armed robberies against tax payers and the state when they raid Medical Marijuana Dispenseries.They damage property, take peoples medcine and treat them with no dignity. I appluad the city council  who voted 9-1for supporting joint decision 20. Which will make the feds respect states rights. With the one neg vote was councilmen Greg Smith. Maybe he should go on the impeachement wagon aswell, get rid of em all'. Peace 

Is Marcus Allen a certified accountant or CPA?  Has he been a businessman CFO and or controller with corporate or government accounting background?  We know he gets an A for playing the political game and is hip connected friends with the mayor and city controller.  The question is what is going through his mind asking for so much money when the city is broke and looking to layoff employees.   The answer is GREED.  He was a city government employee who left to become a lobbyist and I do mean lobbyist not consultant.  Now he wants to come back to government and work for the city.  Don’t you think he is well connected enough to work both sides.  If he is hired I will give odds that a huge scandal will come down within two years.  How can anyone on the city council sit at their chair vote for this huge salary and think that this man is going to be the savior of our city coffers.  The mayor and city council helped create the mess we are in by over spending.  Hiring greedy Mr. Allen at such an outrageous salary is a travesty to our stakeholders intelligence.

yes the rates are damm high we can not make it no more pretty soon we will have too move away from los angeles its getting too expesive too live here
