Can I text message a mobile phone from my computer?
Sure (If you're cell provider is supported), Many websites give this service for free too. Here's a few: Text4Free, Email2sms
You can also use AOL Webmail: Http://webmail.aol.com. Sign on with your account, launch the integrated AIM panel on the right side, sign on there and then you can start texting with any of your contacts or with any mobile phone number you enter there.
